It is your responsibility to practice and to create a safe shooting environment while shooting steel targets!
Shooting hardened steel or AR500 steel can be dangerous, please always use caution and common sense. Bullet fragments and ricochets will end up going in different directions when shooting steel (Keep a safe distance for you, others and any personal property). Make sure there is nothing around that is flammable and you are at minimum distance of 100 yards when shooting rifles or high velocity ammunition. Do not use AP or Steel Core ammunition this is very dangerous and WILL damage your target!
When shooting at any target bought from this website you are acknowledging this disclaimer.
By purchasing body armor from Scorpius Tactical you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions:
You are over the age of eighteen
You have no felony convictions
You are not involved with any criminal organizations
You are a law-abiding adult
You are purchasing the item(s) on your own behalf and not for someone else in order to avoid complying with these terms and conditions.
You assume all risk of use (or misuse) of the item(s) purchased
By purchasing you assume all risks of use or misuse, and agree not to hold us liable in any way. You are responsible for properly installing your body armor in your plate carrier.
We do not cover any consequential damages, and our liability is limited to repairing or replacing defective goods. This product is sold “as is”. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the product is with the buyer. We do not recommend testing any body armor on a person, please exercise caution if doing any testing yourself.
If any part of these Terms are held to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such shall not affect the validity of any other part of these Terms. Headings are for convenience only, and do not limit or affect these Terms.
Connecticut residents are prohibited from buying body armor. Please know your local and federal laws before purchasing, we will only ship to states where body armor is allowed. By using our website and purchasing, you agree to this and all terms listed on this page.
We do not guarantee our coated armor will contain 100% of the fragmentation & spall but through our testing we found it will give you significantly better odds of protection than using bare steel or a light coat of anti-spall coatings
Due to the wide variety of projectiles and the fact that ballistic performance is not qualitative science, Scorpius Tactical makes no guarantee as to the ballistic capabilities of our armor plates.
No returns on body armor once order is placed, please call first if you have any questions.

Our policy lasts 10 days. If 10 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with labels. Automatic 10% restocking fee, 20% if it does not have original packaging or labels.
If you received free shipping with your order you will be charged for the original shipping charges ( typically $6 – $16 ) and the 10% restocking fee or 20% if it does not have original packaging or labels.
Additional non-returnable items:
Body Armor, custom carriers or products, unless it has a manufacturer defect
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 775-622-1836
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
